Stellar’s pricing model is designed to be flexible and scalable, based on actual daily usage. The main components include:

  • Daily User Access: Charges are applied per user, per day, only when the Stellar Suite is in use.

  • Media Minute Usage: Charges are calculated based on the number of new media minutes processed. This includes services such as media file pre-processing, audio mixing, AI-driven enhancements, format conversion, and more

  • Task Server Access:
    • Shared Task Server: Included in the base cost and suitable for freelancers or small teams.
    • Private Task Server: Recommended for teams as from 5 users, priced at €8 per day, and hosted in your own AWS environment for added control and security.

This pay-per-use model ensures cost efficiency while providing access to a full suite of localization, accessibility, and automation tools.

Is there a minimum contract term or commitment?

No, there is no minimum contract term or commitment required. You can use the service flexibly based on your needs

Are there any setup, onboarding, or hidden fees?

No, there are no setup, onboarding, or hidden fees. The only exception applies if you choose to set up a Private Task Server, which requires two days of Yella Umbrella consultancy for implementation.

How is the price affected by fluctuations in media volume?

The pricing model is usage-based and scales with the volume of new media inputs. This flexible model ensures that pricing aligns with actual usage, providing cost efficiency for both low and high-volume periods.

What is the pricing structure for integrated AI services?

Integrated AI services within the Stellar Suite operate on a pay-per-use model, offering flexibility and scalability tailored to your project requirements.

The pay-per-use of AI services is composed of two elements:

  • A Yella platform fee, calculated per AI-assisted media minute processed.

  • A Partner AI service charge, which Yella incurs from trusted external AI providers, varies based on the specific AI functionality used—such as transcription, translation, or synthetic voice generation. This ensures access to advanced capabilities while keeping costs transparent and usage-based.

What is the difference between a Shared Task Server and a Private Task Server in terms of pricing and usage?

Stellar Manage allows you to choose between two Task Server options:

  • Shared Task Server: Hosted by Yella Umbrella and ideal for freelancers or individual users. This option is included in the base platform cost and provides easy access to assign, receive, and track tasks globally.

  • Private Task Server: Recommended for teams with 5 or more daily users (e.g., small companies). Hosted in your own AWS environment, it offers enhanced privacy, control, and customization.
    Pricing: €8 per day, with a one-time setup requiring two Yella Umbrella consultancy days.

Both options support full task lifecycle management via Stellar Manage, including media uploads, task assignment, real-time tracking, and secure access. Full DRM encoding and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) are supported to ensure industry-leading security. When combined with Stellar Automate, users can also design AI-powered Blueprints to automate repetitive workflows.

How are storage costs charged?

Storage costs are based on the amount of data stored on Yella’s cloud infrastructure. This includes all media and text content.
Rate: €0.06 per GB per day.

Is training or support included in the pricing?

Initial setup support and guidance are included to help you get started smoothly with the Stellar Suite. We also offer regular webinars to help you build expertise and make the most of the platform. For organizations requiring more in-depth assistance, extended training sessions and advanced consultancy services are available upon request.

Do I have access to all Stellar tools with my license?

Yes, each user has full access to all Stellar Create tools, including Audio Description, Subtitling, Voice-over, and Dubbing, with no additional licensing fees.

How do I sign up for my free trial?

When you sign up, you’ll receive €20 in free credit, which you can use immediately to explore all features of Stellar Create, including AI services. No restrictions. No commitments. Just the complete experience.

Am I committed to any monthly costs once I use up my free credit?

No, if you want to keep using Stellar Suite, just add more credit via PayPal from as little as €10. If not, then you don’t have to make any payments.

Do I need to enter my credit card or bank details?

No, you only use PayPal to add credit, we don’t need your card or bank details

Can I upgrade my plan after using up the trial credit?

There’s no need to do any upgrades because you already have the full Stellar Suite. Just keep using it.

How do I know how much credit I have in my account?

If you’re a freelancer or a small company, you can see your account balance on the Stellar Create dashboard.

For corporate users Company Admin users can view your account tab.

How do I know if I’m running out of credit?

You’ll get an automatic email when your credit drops below the warning level you set or the default setting.

You can set the amount to trigger the warning in your account tab.

How do I add credit to my account?

If you’re a freelancer or small company, use PayPal to purchase credit in the Stellar shop. https://nebula.yella.tv/shop/

Invoice customers don’t need to add credit. We’ll invoice you every month or quarter based on your actual usage.

If you’re near your credit limit, email sales@yellaumbrella.tv to ask to extend it.

What payment methods are accepted?

For freelancers and small companies, we use PayPal.
For companies with a monthly spend of more than €200, we can set up an account and invoice every month or quarter.

Do I have to pay VAT?

If you’re located in the UK or EU, you’ll pay VAT at your local rate unless you can provide us with a valid VAT number. We’ll need to validate your location and VAT number
If you’re outside the UK and EU, you don’t have to pay VAT.
