Free trial

How do I sign up for my free trial?

Stellar doesn’t provide a free trial as such, instead we provide the full system with €20 free credit. You can use this credit today to access all features and AI services.

Am I committed to any monthly costs once I use up my free credit?

No, if you want to keep using Stellar Suite, just add more credit via PayPal from as little as €10. If not, then you don’t have to make any payments.

Do I need to enter my credit card or bank details?

No, you only use PayPal to add credit, we don’t need your card or bank details

Can I upgrade my plan after using up the trial credit?

There’s no need to do any upgrades because you already have the full Stellar Suite. Just keep using it.

Invoicing and payment

How do I know how much credit I have in my account?

If you’re a freelancer or a small company, you can see your account balance on the Stellar Create dashboard.

For corporate users Company Admin users can view your account tab.

How do I know if I’m running out of credit?

You’ll get an automatic email when your credit drops below the warning level you set or the default setting.

How do I add credit to my account?

If you’re a freelancer or small company, use PayPal to purchase credit in the Stellar shop. https://nebula.yella.tv/shop/

Invoice customers don’t need to add credit. We’ll invoice you every month or quarter based on your actual usage.

If you’re near your credit limit, email sales@yellaumbrella.tv to ask to extend it.

What payment methods are accepted?

For freelancers and small companies, we use PayPal.
For companies with a monthly spend of more than €200, we can set up an account and invoice every month or quarter.

Do I have to pay VAT?

If you’re located in the UK or EU, you’ll pay VAT at your local rate unless you can provide us with a valid VAT number. We’ll need to validate your location and VAT number
If you’re outside the UK and EU, you don’t have to pay VAT.

The Stellar Suite supports almost all subtitle and caption formats and we continuously update our supported file types. View a current list of supported file formats.

What video formats does Stellar support?
Can I record audio directly into Stellar?

Yes, Stellar supports full-quality 48 kHz 16 or 24-bit audio recording.

What audio output formats does Stellar support?
Can I export to a Pro Tools file?

Yes, you can directly export audio from your timeline as a Pro Tools (.ptx) project file.
